The Ride of Martin Gambill was completed in 2010. Depicted is the famous ride of this Baptist Patriot.

Gambill is credited with delivering a call to arms to the militia in western North Carolina and Virginia during the war for American Independence. The gathered militia marched to Kings Mountain and won a resounding victory, thus changing the tide of the Revolution. The original oil painting, by nationally known artist, Ron Adair, is on display at The Museum of Ashe County History in Jefferson, North Carolina.

Prints available are part of a limited edition of 2500 with 25 artist proofs. All prints are signed and numbered. The image size is 18” x 30”. An historical sketch and certificate of authenticity is included with each print.
